a comic about attempting rhythmic gymnastics

Look, if Jane Krakowski can still regularly show off her amazing splits at age 56, I oughta be able to get a LITTLE bit closer to the ground.

My 11yo is a leapy, pouncy cat. I am a comfy chair cat.

AKA, there is nothing like a good dose of trying to do your child's everyday activity to remind you that you are no longer 11.

These kids regularly do things like TWO HOURS of conditioning! They fold themselves into little bendy pretzels! We did 45 minutes of the easiest activities and I counted myself lucky.

I do a lot of walking but I was still like wooooww I can tell I need to work on stretching, especially my hips. (Look, if Jane Krakowski can still regularly show off her amazing splits at age 56, I oughta be able to get a LITTLE bit closer to the ground.) (Also I will note that when I searched for a Jane Krakowski splits pic just now the first thing the search engine suggested was JANE KRAKOWSKI LEGS and you are not wrong, search engine.)

(Also also: Is Jane Krakowski an incredible comic goddess and unreachable on any metric? Well, possibly. But we can try.)

At any rate, now that we've taken that small but important Krakowski appreciation detour. The weather here is glorious, there are loads of tulips, and I'm working on a bunch of art things for a couple upcoming fairs I'm doing! I'll include some pictures next week. Stay well and as un-pollen-ated as possible!
