a comic with a faux Benoit Blanc, rock climbing, and a rainbow

No, I did not cut my pants down to Blanc's slightly-above-the-knee swimsuit size because a) autumn and b) my pants.

yes I already owned all these stripey pieces of clothing

October is one of the prettiest months and this one has had plenty of color.

Yes, one person is a taco. No, I did not get a picture of my favorite No Kings poster, which was "My only orange monarch is a butterfly." Yes, that is a (really lovely) mural of fish on the building beneath the rainbow. No, I did not cut my pants down to Blanc's slightly-above-the-knee swimsuit size because a) autumn and b) my pants.

I am making good progress on my book (as always, no jinxies) and will share a little soon. And I really liked rock climbing (I've done it before, but it's been ages) and I might try to go some more. (By which I mean, I am actually planning to go some more, but also, hedging my bets because what if I sit on my butt and eat Trader Joe's dark chocolate covered honey grahams instead? I don't know, I guess we'll find out.)

Happy Halloween to you all, especially those of you who are trying to help small people become demon-hunters etc! My newly-turned 12yo is going as a griffin trainer, which involves an adorable crocheted griffin and my ancient, Disneyland-acquired Indiana Jones hat.
