a bit of the Willamette

I'm going to be in Seattle for a few days this weekend for WorldCon. (Thurs-Sun.) I would LOVE to see you, so for those of you going, here are a few places I'm definitely going to be!

Thurs 1-2 - I'll be signing at the Fairwood Press Table in the dealers' room with Caroline M. Yoachim! Caroline and I had a totes serious sales competition when our collections first came out with Patrick at WorldCon 10 years ago. (We ended in a tie :D ) And we thought it would be fun to hang out there again. (It's always fun to hang out with Caroline.) Stop by and say hi!

Fri 3:30-4 - I've got a READING! My current plan is to read a bit of "Stage Shows & Schnauzers" from Future SF / The Digital Aesthete, and then a bit of something totally new! I am at the BEGINNING of NOODLING on a new project that would be a cozy fantasy.

Sat 12-1 - I'm on a panel called Interactive Fiction: Video Game Storytellers with Justin Bortnick, Andrew Plotkin, Langley Hyde, and Stephen Granade. We'll talk about gaming mechanics in storytelling, which I find fascinating, so I'm looking forward to both chatting and learning.

Sat 4:30-5:30 - And my last panel is called The Keys to Creative Collaboration and it's with Faye Gabriel, the team of Erin Hardee and Morag who make up MK Hardy, Sammie Trinidad, and Holly Black. Looking forward to this as well.

Otherwise I have been dealing with everything by deep-cleaning, flop-napping, and painting. (Oh, and eating ice cream.)

a little bit more of the Willamette (from the lovely Mary S. Young park)

Grief is weird and complex and I've been so grateful for all the kind words, thoughts, and hugs from everyone. I will probably deal with WorldCon by NOT talking about it for a few days, but I will still gladly accept hugs.

Love to you all <3 tina
