a comic about an egg hunt
I tried to put an egg in a tulip but it fell out.

Oldest kiddo keeps telling me they're too old for egg hunts but MY point of view is that UNLESS you are prepared to hide chocolate for ME then I'm going to continue to enjoy hiding things, thank you very much. (Youngest never says this. Youngest is just full of glee.)

I tried to put an egg in a tulip but it fell out. Rhododendron (panel 2) worked though! And so did giant overgrown rhubarb (panel 4.)
I am currently reading Stephanie Burgis's Wooing the Witch Queen and it is soooooooo magical and charming. If you like some romance in your fantasy or some fantasy in your romance (along with political machinations, disguises, poisonings, bisexual heroines, and magical zoom calls) then you should immediately go forth and pick up this book.
And my friend and co-writer CSE Cooney has a new book out this week - Saint Death's Herald is a sequel to the fantastic Saint Death's Daughter, which I adored. Lanie Stones is born into a family of royal assassins...and is also quite allergic to violence. Full of Cooney's numinous and delightfully original worldbuilding and characters. Can't wait to read this one!
Otherwise, I am currently bashing (and re-bashing) a short synopsis for something new. (!) (I don't want to have too many details before I start, but I do need a good armature.) And additionally I am getting ready to do a couple art fairs here in Portland the first weekend in May! I'm excited AND a bit nervous but (HOPEFULLY) it should be fun. More about that next week.
